To protect the loading/unloading area for tankers in Area 142-06 of the Dipharma plant in Mereto di Tomba, a foam extinguishing system has been planned.

The system includes a setup of 4 foam-water monitors remotely controlled, which can operate via manual control by an operator either from a command station or a portable controller, or function according to a pre-set automatic scenario program. The monitors can rotate 360° on their axis and 110° vertically, allowing full coverage of the project area.

To protect the pump area, a foam deluge system has been planned.
The valve group and the water-foam mixer are installed in a dedicated box, made of monopanel panels, located near the area.
