Fire prevention services

We specialize in the design and implementation of advanced fire prevention systems.
Our team of highly qualified engineers is capable of assessing risks, particularly in terms of fire prevention aspects as per DPR 151/2011 specific to the environment, and developing customized solutions to ensure maximum safety.

Experience in the field of performance-based Fire Safety Engineering (FSE), where, through the application of engineering principles and scientific evaluations of the combustion phenomenon, the effects of fires are defined through numerical simulations, and consequently, the quantification of risks for human life, property, and the environment.

Fire scenarios are then defined based on the building’s activity, occupants, and expected fire source, ensuring that environmental conditions allow for the safe evacuation of occupants. In particular, temperature levels, visibility levels, radiation levels, and concentrations of toxic species are evaluated, along with the load-bearing capacity of the structure.

The calculation model used is the FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator) program from NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), which is considered globally as the “state of the art” in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) dedicated to studying the effects of a fire. This software is also included in the list of models and calculation codes provided by the Fire Prevention Code.
